For web site hosts the most important thing to know about is bandwidth. The quantity of data which can be sent at one time is called “bandwidth”.
The less bandwidth there is, the slower the pages take to load, regardless of the amount of visitors to the site. With more visitors, each visitor is going to have to wait his or her turn if you don’t have enough bandwidth to accommodate everyone. When selecting a hosting plan, you have to consider the bandwidth you will need.
Be careful when someone claims they provide unlimited bandwidth or monthly transfer. Anyone claiming unlimited bandwidth is simply lying. There’s no such thing as Unlimited Bandwidth.
I have not seen the option of unlimited megabytes per second. There are various web hosting companies which don’t have acess lines of its own but even then promises clients that unlimited bandwith can be provided, how is it possible?
