Better Shopping Carts Means Better Shopping

by Kirt Christensen

Being a stay at home mom creates a number of challenges in choosing where to shop. With two small boys, factors such as parking, willingness to help from store employees and even the maneurverability of the shopping carts can determine where and I can or can not shop.

Like so many other American households, I do the majority of the shopping. Not sure if this is fair or not, but irrelevant in my case as it’s a fact. As so many others, I bring my children along. Which stores to shop is truly based on the factors I mentioned above and play a much larger role than some may think. For example, I have an appointment at a beauty supply store later this morning. The aisles and lack of availability of shopping carts will limit the time I am willing to spend inside the store.

Secure Your Retirement With A Roth IRA

by Dave Bern

A Roth IRA (Individual Retirement Account) or the 401K plan that many large and small businesses offer their employees is a sensible solution to help you save towards the time when you are going to retire. It doesn’t take a lot to set up such an IRA and then make contributions towards it. However, you need to be aware of certain things with regards to making Roth IRA contributions and below we look at what these are.

Firstly how much a person is able to contribute depends on their age. Anyone under the age of 50 can contribute $4,000 while those over 50 are entitled to contribute $4,500. There are no limitations on the age at which people are able to contribute to their Roth IRA plan. But 401k contribution limits vary considerably from those offered to you with an IRA.

Merchants Beware - Fraudsters Ripped You Off For $3.6 Billion

by Don Reid

Carders are a group of criminals who buy and sell credit card information on forums. You can google “carders forum” to see what I mean. you will see that thousands of cards are bought and sold every day.

Carders and fraudsters use stolen credit card information primarily to buy goods and services online from unsuspecting merchants. In 2007 the total they stole from websites was $3.6 BILLION. In 2008 the total will be more than 4 billion.

Did you also know that the only party at risk in an online credit card transaction is the merchant? Not the bank, not the card companies, not the cardholder, no only the merchant.
This is because the merchant does not have a signature from the cardholder. Without that signature the merchant is screwed and will not only lose the goods or services but will be fined $20 for the priviledge.

Internet Marketing Gurus, Taking Advantage Of People

by Tim May

Ever felt taken advantage of by an internet marketing guru? I am sure you know what I am talking about. Every day there is someone on the internet telling you to quit your job and start an online business from home.

They often say something like, \”Tell your boss good buy, and make a six figure income every month,\” or \”Need extra cash?, buy this ebook and make thousands a month.\” So you decide, this sounds exactly like what I need. So you go to the site and find it littered with the same junk everyone elses is. It seems to go on forever, and their claims are ridiculous.

They tell you about their great secrets and that they are dying to share them with you on how they make their millions. You must first purchase their DVD or ebook, which only redirects you back to the site so that you can sign up for your soon to be new life. This is where the fun starts, unfortunately not for you but for them.
